Up to £1.78 million worth of parking tickets remain unpaid in and around Bristol.

More than 15 per cent of drivers slapped with £70 fines in the past year have not forked out the cash.

As around one in seven motorists fail to pay up it means a lost revenue of up to £1,782,620 to cash-strapped councils.
