More than 1,000 children aged between 11 and 16 were arrested in Nottinghamshire in less than a year – for offences including rape, arson and murder.

Of the 1,098 arrests made by Nottinghamshire Police between January 1 and November 26, 2015, 148 were for criminal damage.
