A total of nearly £3 million was spent on roadworks over 18 months in Yeovil, figures have revealed.

According to Somerset County Council between March 2015 and August 2016 there were 22 projects in or around the town totalling £2,917,132 and lasting a total of 247 days.

The burning question for those who live and work in Yeovil is going to be was it all worth it?
