The father of Poppi Worthington has been given £117,000 in legal aid to fund his bid for custody of his other children.

Paul Worthington, 48, is believed by a judge to have sexually assaulted his 13-month-old daughter shortly before her sudden death. He was arrested after the incident but was not charged and has consistently denied any wrongdoing.
