Hundreds of primary-age schoolkids are being held by cops on suspicion of serious crimes like rape , robbery and drug raps .

Research from forces across England show more than a thousand kids of 11 and 12 are being arrested each year.

Of those 56 were quizzed over alleged rapes and a further 103 over claims of robbery, the Sunday People reports.
