BuzzFeed put in a Freedom of Information request to Iain Duncan Smith’s Department of Work and Pensions and asked them how much their YouTube channel costs.

It turns out they spent £31,046.52 on the channel for the nine months between April 2013 and January 2014. During this period 33 videos were produced specifically for the channel in the last year.
