EIGHTEEN cases involving suspected paedophiles are still being investigated in the West Midlands – more than two years after evidence was first passed to UK authorities.

Figures obtained under the Freedom of Information Act show that more than 200 suspects across the country are still being investigated after information was first passed to the Child Exploitation Online Protection Centre (Ceop) by Canadian police in July 2012.
