Police forces have used Tasers on children as young as nine years old more than a thousand times in the last three years despite a UN warning to stop using the stun guns on young people.

A metro.co.uk investigation has shown that forces either aimed or discharged the weapons at least 482 times last year, despite a United Nations warning about the potential health hazards for children.
