The number of escalated bullying incidents police were called out to in schools increased dramatically last year, according to figures released by the Met.

The number of racially or religious motivated incidents increased by more than 50 per cent between 2013 and 2014,and more specifically the number of Islamaphobic bullying incidents doubled, while anti-semitic incidents increased by 700 per cent.
