Tasers were used against children nearly 500 times last year.

There were 476 incidences of tasers being used against children across the UK in 2015, according to figures released by police under the Freedom of Information Act.

However, this was a drop of 5% from 501 uses in 2014, the first time the number of incidents has dropped year-on-year since 2008.
