Ministers announced in February 2015 that a total of 13 schools in Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire had seen their applications to take part in the Priority School Building Programme 2 (PSBP2) approved.

The government fought for more than a year to block an EDP Freedom of Information request for a list of schools whose bids were rejected, but were finally ordered to release it by the Information Commissioner.
