Westminster council have spend millions on putting the homeless into hotels, a Freedom of Information request revealed. 

The Sun report:

COUNCIL chiefs are blowing millions booking homeless people into posh hotels because of a loophole in new benefit limits.

Officials are picking up tabs for rooms costing £475 a day EACH in swanky four-star accommodation where hard-working families could never afford to stay on holiday.

The bill for one homeless family alone came to more than £27,000 for just the first two months of this year, a Sun investigation found.
