Children in Plymouth’s schools are under the watchful eye of almost 900 CCTV cameras, a Freedom of Information request has revealed. 

The Plymouth Herald report:

CITY schoolchildren are being watched by 875 CCTV cameras every day, The Herald can reveal.

They are among1,303 cameras in operation on educational campuses across the city.

And, according to figures obtained under the Freedom of Information Act, 388 of those are trained on the inside of school buildings.
