The amount of crimes committed against students in Nottingham is falling, Freedom of Information figures from the police show. 

The Nottingham Post report:

CRIMES against Nottingham’s student population are falling, according to police figures.

Offences in almost every category where the victims are recorded as students have declined steadily since 2007, the statistics say.

According to the figures, released on the Notts Police website after a Freedom of Information Request from a member of the public, there were 1,025 violent crimes against students in 2012 compared with 2,482 in 2007.
