More than 200 children have been taken from their foster families after fears for their safety a Freedom of Information request has revealed. 

The Express report:

A DISTURBING dossier of children plucked out of foster families amid allegations that they had suffered abuse can be revealed by the ­Sunday Express today.

A Freedom of Information survey of councils found in the past year 216 children were taken from foster parents because of fears for their care.

Another 23 children were removed because social workers believed the relationship was not working.
