Hospitals in Wexham have been found to have rats and cockroaches, a Freedom of Information request has revealed.

HOSPITAL bosses have sought to reassure patients and families after revelations of pest infestation at Heatherwood and Wexham Park Hospitals.

 

A Freedom of Information request has revealed the number of times the NHS Foundation Trust called pest controllers out in 2011 and 2012 and the reason for the callout.

 

Wexham Park’s biggest problem in 2012 was rats, with 17 callouts to its contracted external pest control company, Rokill in 2012, according to the figures, which are avilable to view on the Trust’s website.
